The Cotton Anniversary

Traditionally this, our second anniversary, is the "Cotton Anniversary". I'm sorry to say I dropped the ball on this one, because I was totes going to buy you some underwear.
Luckily, there's still time for that.
This year was wrought with change, horrifying moments and difficulties galore. {And if the incident at the very start of our third year together is any indication - I don't think any of that will be abating soon.} It has also been littered with incredible triumphs, celebrations and moments of complete and utter bliss.
It is rough. It has been rough. But through it all we've worked on us. Making our marriage a force to be reckoned with. If we partnered that fight and determination with some caffeine and a set of highly detailed instructions - my love, I have no doubt that we could conquer the world.
The silly way we break into song during dinnertime, the way our children are grossed out every time we hug, how we speak to each other without words and still revel in our quiet moments alone... we must be doing something right, regardless of our tremendously rotten luck and horrendous planning.
Thank you for helping me accomplish my goals no matter how small they are, for being all that I need - even when I don't know I need it, for unequivocally loving me and my flaws, not despite them. For making me feel beautiful when my hair is a mess, for hiding my depression robe when all I want is to mope around in it for another day, for whispering sweet nothings, literally the words "sweet nothings" in my ear when I am in desperate need of a giggle.
I am so thankful that we have one another.
The King of my heart, my soul and our totally screwed up little castle of crazy, I love you madly.
