Favorite Stuff Friday: #HomeHer11 Style!

I wasn't going to do FSF today, Samara left yesterday and I am, as usual, brokenhearted in her absence.

But, I really need something else to focus on and my sons don't want to play with me because I'm doing Arts & Crafts wrong. So...

If you're a blogger, you know what's going on this weekend and you're either there {and I hate you} or you're not {and you hate everyone there}.

Sessions like "How To Make Your Husband Believe You've Been Cleaning All Day While Spending All Day On Twitter", "Laundry Separation Anxiety" and my very own; "How To Cope With The Dreaded 10 Second Napper When You Have 10 Billion Things To Do". 

I have no idea who's officially hosting, but I participated last year when the host was @BackpakingDad and found so many great blogs and people to stalk.

Sign up for their Blog Hop too, it's tomorrow! I'll be participating in the Hop and {hopefully} their chat afterwards at 9pm EST.

For those of you who care about the BlogHer conference {certainly none of you bitter asses reading this}, they've announced that BlogHer 2012 will be held on August 2-5th in New York City. 

With absolute certainty I can tell you that I will be buying a ticket, and hopefully dragging my own bitter ass outside of my comfort zone {and comfortable pajamas} to attend.

Anyone else hoping to be there?

I would love to go to NYC so I'm going to seriously consider it. I have some friends in/near the city I would love to visit before/after so I really need to figure a way to get myself there. I would seriously feel bad for dissing my #HomeHer sisters, though. They'll understand, right? Right?

I don't hate everyone that is there but I am jealous of them. I could have gone because it's just a hop, skip and a jump from me but I couldn't drag myself out of my comfort zone!!! I participated in HomeHer10 last year and it was so much fun. I'm doing what I can to participate in HomeHer11 but it's really difficult...I need the "Managing Your Time Online: How to Convince Your Family that You Are Not Just Watching Funny Cat Videos All Day Long"
