Stream Of Consciousness Sunday: Honey Badger Don't Care

Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 11:57AM I was so thrilled for the week of hellacious busyness to be over, I nearly died from an overdose of the giddies, and now it's Sunday and it's taking all of me not to wallow in how fast the weekend passed.
The weekends used to be the fastest days in my childhood, I'd go to sleep {grudgingly} on Friday night and SWEAR I woke up on Sunday evening just to start prepping for school the next day. Now, they're even faster with less sleep!
Le BS, I say.
This is pretty much all that we did yesterday. We laughed, we played, we read a lot of books, we removed the television time limit and watched a few newly added shows on our Netflix queue, we even ate chips in bed.
We deserved a day like that after the week we'd had. After the boys went to bed, I took a bubble bath and it was probably the best bubble bath ever. It's weird when your "me time" starts to feel routine, I usually take a bath whether I "need" the time or not, but yesterday... I needed it and was super grateful for it.
Christian has been trying to watch this documentary on Wolverines for a few days, and every time he puts it on, I'll ask a question about it and then cut him off with "Honey badger don't care!". It makes him sigh and change it to something better.
Whatever. Wolverines are boring anyway. If he wants to watch a good documentary, I'd suggest Helvetica, but therein lies the difference between us - he finds animals interesting, I like fonts.
On Friday I went to pick Caesar up from school, after his class' amazing performance of "There Was An Old Lady" and his teacher scooted up to me and asked me if I got any good pictures, because the teachers had no cameras on them.
Suuuuuure I did. I got quite a few through my body racking sobs.
...Of Caesar. :\
Whoops.
I love this picture of Mercutio.
It's unrelated to everything in this entry.
