Shoot Your Kids Photography Workshop!

Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:04AM The Minions are my favorite subjects to photograph, I'm sure by now that's obvious. Not only do I get to catch sweet moments like these on camera;
But how else would you believe that my children were total weirdos, if you didn't have photographic proof?
Photography means a great deal to me, with my mother's memory on the fritz, I am grateful that she'll always have pictures of her grandchildren to trigger a beautiful memory. And now that we live far from my mother in law, I'm glad that she can always head here to see new pictures of the kids because I'm the worst at sending them regularly.
I still have a lot to learn about perfecting my photography, and that doesn't stop me from clicking away, but I am excruciatingly picky about workshops.
Who's teaching it? How long have they been shooting? What does their own photography look like? These are a few of the 500 questions I ask before ever signing up, or shelling out a single dollar of monies, on a workshop.
I prefer hands on workshops because I have such trouble retaining the technical details, but they are difficult to find in our area. So when a retweet popped up on my timeline regarding the Shoot Your Kids photography workshop, which is a mobile workshop {!!!} I was a little giddy.
Then I was offered the opportunity to share a $50 off code with you guys, and my giddiness tripled.
Then I saw their work at Benfield Photography and I exploded. Stop reading this RIGHT NOW, and visit them. TRUST ME. Then come back, otherwise you'll miss the discount!
You'll want to attend the Shoot Your Kids workshop if;
- You take gazillions of pictures of your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or other family members of the child variety.
- You want to learn to take better pictures of them.
The workshop is geared to enthusiasts of all levels, with all cameras. They cover shooting basics, and photoshop tricks to take your photography up a notch, in a 3.5 hour long course. They specifically keep the size of the workshop small so they have time to work with you individually, meaning that space is limited!
Albany is too far for me, which is suuuuuuuuuuch a disappointment, but if the Shoot Your Kids workshop comes to your area, don't miss it!
When you're registering - use discount code RAZING50 and you'll save $50 on the workshop cost!
Go forth and register! Learn how to better Shoot Your Kids!
