No, YOU'RE So Exhausted That You Keep Falling Asleep On The Toilet

Monday, July 30, 2012 at 8:26PM I'm beat.
I know this is normal, but either I'm not remembering correctly or this is the worst pregnancy exhaustion I've faced.
I'm not really complaining, I have the same zero desire to clean, but more motivation to get it done because I'm terrified that it will pile up. {Not that it doesn't} I'm just surprised by how quickly my symptoms exacerbated. One minute I'm break dancing in the kitchen to the Itsy Bitsy Spider song, and the next I'm crawling, literally can't stand up and walk, crawling, into bed only to lie there until 5am.
Not to mention, I'm showing. A lot. If we wanted to hide this pregnancy, I wouldn't have had the option to.
Samara leaves in two days, so we've been trying to make the most of our remaining time while also combating her demanding impatience and Justin Bieber obsession. I'm {finally} studying to {finally} receive my driver's permit {finally}, and fighting what I'm sure will be a losing battle with Ithaca's appalling prenatal care options. Getting real life things done is not as big of a problem, but sit at the computer while Severus naps and I find myself immediately nodding off with him, I just can't focus.
I'm grateful I have a few days until the morning sickness hits, usually it's 6 weeks exactly - so I'll have a better idea of how far along I am, if this trend continues.
It's not all slow motion though.
Christian and I are enjoying tossing around names with the Minions, who have dubbed him everything from Batman to Sugar Toes. We've opened up countless Chinese Lunar Charts and have marveled over how exactly half of the ones we open say we're having a girl, while the other half claims a boy, just our luck!
We're still floating along, maybe me more than everyone else since I'm in an almost constant state of daydream, but I'm not rushing, not pushing, nowhere near ready for this all to be over forever.

Are you sure you there is only one pea in there? You sound like I was when I was pregnant with bub and his twin!
I'm gonna agree with Heather! My mom was the same way early on she was soo tired and sick and started showing early. She had twin boys. :)
Twins??
I also wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award, go to http://sadiebakes.com/wow-i-was-nominated/ and see what to do next!
Hi! I didn't get tired until the second tri. Man I feel like I can sleep all day and night. As it is I struggle to make it past 9pm where I used to be up until 1am! It's crazy! I do hope that the morning sickness is not bad for you. I think that's the worst part of pregnancy (other than birth I guess?).
When is your first OB appointment? Our gender scan is in mid-September I think. So we have a ways. lol
I would have thought Ithaca would have a lot of alternative and more natural birthing centers and health care providers? Or is that not what you're looking for? I know when I was pregnant with Reid I wanted to go to a midwife service there that did VBACs but it wasn't an option for us.
maybe your're having twins.....that is how I felt my last go about!! :) I didn't get the nausea, but I was so exhausted I felt like I couldn't get anything done! And now that the twins are 6 months old, I still feel that way! haha
I hope you start feeling better and as always praying for a healthy baby....or two!
