Droid Optimus For Net10 Review #LevantateUn10

I received the Droid Optimus Net that I'll be test driving for the next three months on Net10 Wireless' network.

And I'm going to let you jump right into my video review {excuse the overuse of "um", "love" and "fantastic"}:

Note: The campaign ends in September, but I WILL be back to give you an updated review.

I could go on forever about gadgets, but there's always something I'd neglect to mention.

For instance, the Droid Optimus Net {also the LG L45C} is running Gingerbread, which was released in 2010 - it's still incredibly functional, and I very rarely come across an app that I want and can't download, but it is an older OS and unfortunately, you are unable to upgrade to newer Android OS. Again though, I don't find this to be troublesome, mostly I'm unable to download games, like SongPop and I'm really fine with not having the extra time {and battery} suck.

The camera also records video, and does so well. Here's a short one I shot of Severus dancing while sharing popcorn with his Oma this morning.

Sending videos via MMS is almost impossible, the files are usually too large.

The screen is very responsive, no dead pixels, and again - the clarity, is just remarkable. I am still gushing over it, I pulled up several of my favorite photographer friend blogs and forced Christian to look at them, I was so excited.

There are buttons for the camera and volume conveniently located on either side of the phone, the power/screen lock button is on the top beside the standard earphone jack. All easily accessible.

It does come preloaded with apps that you probably won't use, and my forever complaint is where in the hey hey is my cell phone charm holder!?

The phone comes with its charger; removable wall plug and mini USB cable, as well as a 4GB microSD card. It does not come with a microSD adapter, so all of your data transferring will have to be done via USB if you don't own one. The manual is accessible online, but it comes with a quick start guide which contains most of the information you need.

As far as the Net10 service goes - I am thus far hugely impressed! They're covered by the best networks; AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc. and even out here in the country, I get a really great and strong signal.

Net10 products are located in 90,000 stores which you very likely already frequent {Walmart, Target, Radio Shack and more}, so phones and cards for reloading are very easy to find.

They offer unlimited text, calls and Internet in the US, Mexico, other countries and even includes cell phones, which costs about half as much as typical contract plans.

NO CONTRACT! I can't squee about that enough.

I look forward to sharing the rest of my mobile experience with you: In the meantime, follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for more.

This is part of a compensated campaign with Latina Mom Bloggers and Net10 Wireless. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
